Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting a Business Analyst for Higher Education post-award services transformation in London. The role focuses on improving processes, systems and services supporting research administration after external funding is secured.

You will work across Finance, Research & Innovation Services, IT and university stakeholders to map current processes, identify pain points and design improved ways of working, with a 3-month initial contract and hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Map and document end-to-end ‘as-is’ business processes
• Identify process inefficiencies, pain points, risks and improvement opportunities
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Develop ‘to-be’ processes and target operating models- Elicit, validate and document business requirements
• Produce solutions options papers, recommendations and analysis
• Consider the impact of changes across people, process, policy, data and technology
• Support a longer-term transformation business case and service redesign
• Work across areas including research partner payments, research-funded staff processes, digital timesheets and management information/dashboarding
