Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a global engineering manufacturer. The role is Southwest England and Wales, remote/field-based, building distributor relationships and targeting new business opportunities.

You will promote motors, gearboxes, automation and related products, manage the sales pipeline and drive growth with an established customer base, with clear progression into senior sales roles.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
• Commercially aware with strong communication abilities.
• Ability to understand customer applications and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop distributor accounts across Southwest England and Wales.
• Develop relationships with key end users and identify new business opportunities.
• Visit customers face-to-face and grow existing customer spend.
• Understand customer applications and provide technical solutions.
• Promote motors, gearboxes, geared motors, automation and related products.
• Manage the sales pipeline, territory activity and customer relationships.
• Conduct customer meetings and presentations.
