Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council's Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an Area Manager to lead change, shape culture and protect communities across Gloucestershire. As a member of the Strategic Leadership Team, you will drive improvement, develop high-performing teams and make a lasting difference.

This role requires strategic vision paired with operational credibility, the ability to inspire through visible leadership, and a commitment to positive organisational culture as the service progresses

Qualifications

• Incident Command Level 3 (or equivalent) and a willingness to achieve Level 4.
• Experience leading change and service improvement.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial, financial and organisational awareness.
• A passion for public service and continuous improvement.
