Job summary

Edge Hill University is seeking an Analytics & Reporting Engineer within the Regulatory Returns & Analytics Engineering team to enable data driven decision making across the university.

You will develop and maintain robust reporting solutions, work with stakeholders across faculties and services to shape reporting needs, and create analytics, MI, and self-serve reporting by modelling curated datasets into meaningful management information.

Qualifications

• Experience working with data and producing management information
• An understanding of or experience in the use of SQL, XML, Alteryx and Power BI/ Tableau
• Experience of working in a relevant setting, preferably in a large and complex organisation
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders across all levels

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining robust reporting solutions that support academic, administrative, and strategic functions
• Working closely with stakeholders across faculties, professional services, and senior leadership to understand and refine reporting needs
• Creating analytics, MI, and self-serve reporting by modelling curated datasets into meaningful management information
