Job Description:

Role Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing and Portfolio Management, the Strategic Analytics Manager will shape the commercial management of the Vehicle Finance business, driving profitable growth and supporting transformation through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop a robust analytical framework to understand vehicle finance performance.
2. Optimize portfolio profitability while ensuring good customer outcomes.
3. Analyze internal and external data to identify commercial opportunities.
4. Collaborate with sales and product teams to enhance competitiveness and product offerings.
5. Maintain strong relationships across finance, credit risk, and analytics teams to ensure fit-for-purpose pricing models.
6. Support the development of data infrastructure within Gateway for analytical needs.
7. Mentor and develop team members and collaborate across the Group.
8. Represent the team as a member of the Commercial leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

1. Experience in managing Lending P&L and consumer lending, preferably in non-prime/digital sectors.
2. Strong quantitative skills in credit analytics and portfolio management.
3. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
4. Understanding of FCA/PRA regulated environments.
5. Degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
