This position is a highly visible and integral role within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team which is responsible for driving revenue by establishing and growing key partnerships with major airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and global distribution systems (GDS). Within GBP, the Distribution team is responsible for ensuring Amex GBT’s customers has all the air, hotel and ground content they require. Our team works very closely with stakeholders across the organization with regular exposure to senior leadership.

Right now, we are looking for a high performing analyst with outstanding analytics, strong commercial acumen and demonstrated thought leadership to join the Distribution team.

What You'll Do

• Maximize revenues by monitoring new deal performance, supporting deal negotiations and providing key strategic insights
• Identify new revenue opportunities through data analytics, particularly with the ability to model different scenarios
• Develop and roll-out reporting for key strategic agreements, working with the Global Revenue Management team where necessary
• Work closely with the FP&A team on forecasting, advising on risks and opportunities and ensuring all P&L impacts are fully understood and aligned
• Monitor costs and revenue flows with key suppliers, ensuring that both areas are in line with contractual commitments
• Use analytical skillset to identify broad trends in the distribution space beyond Amex GBT
• Ensure accurate data loading and data integrity
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Excellent analytical mindset with broad commercial acumen and thought leadership to generate meaningful insights on performance
• Ability to work closely with Finance teams to support forecasting etc.
• Self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a global team
• Motivated individual who can optimize workflow processes and can identify areas for improvement
• Able to work with data at a detailed level while keeping an eye on the broader strategy
• Excellent communication skills; must be able to translate complex data into key messages that will be delivered to Leadership teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Demonstrated experience of working in an analytical role
• Ability to translate large amounts of data into clear actionable insights
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including communications, time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to understand business processes and commercial implications to make strategic recommendations
• Financial qualifications preferred (ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc.)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, preferably with experience of Power BI and Access DB
