Job summary

Wellcome Sanger Institute is seeking a Strategy Advisor to join the Strategy team within the Innovation and Impact department. The role supports coordination of strategic activity, developing plans and briefings, and synthesising evidence to inform decision making.

You will contribute to horizon scanning and engage across the organisation to enable forward-looking, evidence-based strategic delivery. The role requires strong organisational and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Ability to gather, interpret and synthesize information from a range of sources into clear, concise materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Interest or experience in horizon scanning methodologies and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination of strategic activity across Sanger.
• Contribute to development and delivery of strategic initiatives, papers and briefings.
• Conduct horizon scanning, researching trends, opportunities and risks and their implications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate meetings, workshops and senior-level discussions.
