Job summary

Wellcome Genome Campus is seeking a Strategy Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term or internal secondment within the Innovation and Impact department. You will support the coordination of strategic activity, develop evidence-based materials and contribute to horizon scanning to inform decision-making.

The role requires collaboration across teams, preparation of papers and briefings, and delivery of forward-looking outputs in a hybrid setup (2–3 days onsite). Salary £42,000–£50,600.

Qualifications

• Organised and analytical, able to gather, interpret and synthesise information from multiple sources.
• Able to produce clear, concise written materials for different audiences.
• Collaborative, able to coordinate activity and manage competing priorities at pace.
• Curious and adaptable with an interest in research and policy environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic activity across the Innovation and Impact department.
• Contribute to horizon scanning, researching trends, opportunities and risks.
• Prepare papers, briefing notes and other materials for senior discussions.
• Support meetings, workshops and cross-team collaboration to inform planning.
