Job summary

University College School in London is seeking a dynamic Registrar to lead the admissions function, guiding prospective families from enquiry to enrolment across three sites. This pivotal role demands exceptional interpersonal skills and collaboration with marketing, finance and academic leaders to ensure a seamless, engaging experience.

You will manage end-to-end processes, oversee 11+/16+ examinations and interviews, plan events, supervise bursaries and scholarships, ensure GDPR compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience in independent school admissions.
• Experience developing marketing strategies for high-end service providers.
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organised and able to work under time pressure.
• Ability to adapt readily to new technologies.
• Experience supervising/managing a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end admissions process, from enquiry through to joining.
• Lead 11+ and 16+ admissions and assessment including exams and interviews.
• Plan and deliver admissions events, Open Evenings and fairs.
• Oversee Bursaries and Music Scholarships within admissions KPIs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to communicate UCS proposition across channels.
• Maintain admissions systems, data and GDPR compliance including the portal.
• Analyse admissions data to generate insight and identify opportunities.
• Build relationships with feeder schools and partner organisations.
• Lead the Admissions team with strategic direction and development.
• Cross-check applicants' ability to pay with Head of Finance.
