Job summary

RMErecruit in Belfast is seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager (No Audit) to lead a portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth clients. You will provide strategic tax and business guidance and oversee statutory reporting.

The role drives process automation and cloud adoption (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) while mentoring junior staff, offering clear progression in a dynamic, market-leading firm with excellent holidays and pension.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with practice experience.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and tax/accounts workflows.
• Strong knowledge of UK/Irish tax legislation and statutory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Oversee statutory financial statements and management information in line with FRs102/FRS105.
• Handle corporate and personal taxation including CT600 and self-assessment.
• Mentor junior accountants and trainees to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Drive digital transformation through cloud accounting and automated workflows.
