Job summary

RMErecruit is recruiting a seasoned Management Accountant for a Belfast SME. You will deliver monthly management accounts, with detailed commercial analysis, and work alongside Directors to shape growth strategies.

You’ll lead process improvements, manage the annual budget and cash flow forecasts, and help strengthen internal controls. A strong Excel toolkit and clear communication to the Board are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Management Accountant in an SME environment.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to improve and automate processes.
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, or finalist; or qualified by experience with relevant expertise.
• Ability to present financial performance clearly to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts with detailed commercial analysis.
• Provide financial insights to directors for growth and strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate and improve financial systems and internal controls.
• Manage the annual budget and cash flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with a high-performing finance team and wider business function.
