Job summary

TEC Partners Limited seeks an Accounts Manager to lead a substantial client portfolio, working closely with partners on strategy and growth. You will provide high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to owner-managed, SME and corporate clients across sectors.

You will review statutory and management accounts, supervise tax compliance, and mentor junior staff, while identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and drive business development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience at manager level in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across general practice services.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounting, tax and advisory services.
• Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations.
• Overseeing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT compliance.
• Leading client meetings and acting as a key point of contact for ongoing advice and support.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to client relationships.
• Managing workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Reviewing work prepared by managers and senior staff prior to partner sign off.
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of the accounts team.
• Working closely with partners on business development and strategic initiatives.
