Qualifications

• Experience leading a large management accounting or operational finance team.
• Strong knowledge of cost of sales, stock, and margin drivers.
• Extensive balance sheet experience with controls and reconciliations.
• Commercial mindset with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Highly organised and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large accounting team.
• Deliver accurate management accounts including P&L ownership.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity with reconciliations and aging reviews.
• Oversee cost control, margin analysis and KPIs.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial Finance.
• Support a fast, accurate month-end close and improvements.
• Drive process optimisation and automation in management accounting.
• Contribute to finance transformation and standardisation.
