Job summary

Autograph Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an Account Manager to join a growing accountancy practice. You will support a portfolio of clients, review bookkeeping, and produce monthly management accounts with balance sheet reconciliations, while collaborating with senior staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in management accounting, ACCA/CIMA/CPA progress, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, client-focused mindset with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting or similar role.
• Studying towards or qualified in ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of management accounts.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with clients or stakeholders desirable.
• Knowledge of Xero desirable.
• Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and progress.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Reviewing client bookkeeping and resolving issues.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting period-end processes and meeting agreed deadlines.
• Analysing financial performance and providing commentary and insights.
• Developing involvement in client advisory and commercial discussions.
• Maintaining accurate client records and working collaboratively with the wider team.
