Job summary

Edelman is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to lead day-to-day client work, develop compelling stories, and drive integrated campaigns across earned media, creators, social and owned channels.

You will manage teams, coach junior staff, and ensure high-quality outputs while delivering proactive counsel and strategic recommendations to diverse clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in London.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced agency or in-house PR environment.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities with coaching of juniors.
• Comfort collaborating with diverse practices and teams across campaigns.
• Proactive problem solving and storytelling ability.
• Interest in current affairs and international business.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily client contact and lead when appropriate, delivering day-to-day work and proactive counsel.
• Lead media relations efforts: story development, outreach plans, journalist briefings, and media contacts.
• Plan and develop integrated campaigns across earned media, creators, social and owned channels.
• Oversee quality and deadlines, coaching junior team members and ensuring high standards.
• Create compelling content: press releases, social posts, articles, and proposals.
• Support new business pitches with research, slides and process coordination.
