Job summary

Edelman is seeking an Account Director for the Impact practice in London, leading sustainability and social impact campaigns for major clients. You will guide strategy, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and nurture partnerships with NGOs and civil society to deliver measurable reputational and societal outcomes.

Based in London with global scope, you will shape the offer and leverage Edelman Trust Barometer insights to drive impact across campaigns, digital storytelling, and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Proven experience with sustainability, social impact or purpose strategies and campaigns.
• Strong ability to advise clients at senior levels and craft strategic campaigns.
• Experience building and managing multi-stakeholder partnerships for social impact.
• Leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Understanding of AI, digital tools and storytelling for communications.
• Global experience with diverse market needs and cultural nuances.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients confidently on environmental and social campaigns to drive reputation.
• Provide expert leadership for sustainability and purpose projects within integrated teams.
• Design social impact programmes and establish partnerships with civil society and NGOs.
• Develop the Edelman offer, mentor team members, and manage line responsibilities.
• Draft strategic PR proposals and support IP and marketing initiatives.
