QA is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join its Enterprise Market team in the UK. This senior individual contributor role reports to a Sales Director and drives major enterprise opportunities within designated sectors.

About The Role
Strategic Account Executive
The role
We’re looking for an accomplished Strategic Account Executive to join our Enterprise Market team at QA.
This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting directly to a Sales Director, with responsibility for developing and closing significant enterprise opportunities within an aligned industry sector.
You’ll work with some of the UK’s largest and most complex organisations, building relationships at C-suite, VP and Director level and helping customers address major skills, workforce and transformation challenges.
This isn’t a transactional or high-volume sales role. You’ll need to understand how large organisations operate, navigate complex buying structures and bring the commercial judgement and credibility to lead strategic conversations with senior decision-makers.
We're looking for an established enterprise salesperson who knows their market, understands their customers and can take ownership of opportunities from initial identification through to negotiation and close.
What you'll be doing
You’ll take ownership of developing enterprise opportunities within one of our key sectors: Financial Services & Insurance, Systems Integrators/Professional Services & Technology, FMCG & Pharma, or Media/Telco & Retail.
Identify, develop and close high-value enterprise opportunities through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach and your professional network.
Develop and execute strategic account plans, identifying key stakeholders, business priorities and opportunities for long-term growth.
Build trusted relationships with C-suite, VP and Director-level decision-makers, positioning QA as a strategic partner.
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles, from initial engagement and solution development through to commercial negotiation and close.
Understand customers' business challenges and position QA's learning, technology and workforce solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.
Own your commercial performance, maintaining a strong pipeline, accurate forecasts and consistent delivery against revenue targets.
Collaborate with Solutions, Product and Customer Success teams to develop compelling propositions, deliver successful outcomes and expand strategic relationships.
What we're looking for
You’ll already be an accomplished B2B enterprise salesperson with a proven track record of winning complex business and consistently delivering against challenging revenue targets.
Significant experience selling into large enterprise organisations, with a strong history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
A proven new-business track record, with the ability to independently generate, develop and close significant opportunities.
Established sector expertise and a strong professional network within at least one of our target industries.
Experience navigating complex enterprise buying structures, managing multiple stakeholders and influencing C-suite decision-makers.
Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand strategic business challenges and articulate compelling, outcome-led solutions.
Commercial confidence in managing high-value negotiations, longer sales cycles and sophisticated procurement processes.
A self-sufficient, commercially driven approach, with the credibility, judgement and ownership expected of a senior enterprise salesperson.
Experience selling learning solutions, workforce transformation, technology or SaaS products would be advantageous, although direct experience in the learning industry is not essential.
An understanding of the wider technology landscape, including cloud, AI, software and data, would also be valuable.
