Job summary

Jewson is seeking a Sales Executive to manage and grow an account portfolio across High Wycombe, Amersham, Berkhamstead and Chesham. You will build strong customer relationships, drive profitable sales and deliver a seamless experience through proactive engagement and effective project follow-up.

You will coordinate with branch teams and suppliers to ensure orders run smoothly, identify growth opportunities, onboard new accounts and reactivate dormant ones, while delivering consistent results.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management or customer support.
• Commercial and pricing awareness of margins, rebates, delivery charges and credit processes.
• Clear and professional communicator across phone, email and in-person.
• Project coordination, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Organisational skills with ability to manage your own diary.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Experience within builders’ merchant, supplier, or construction-related role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your assigned account portfolio.
• Develop trust relationships with customers to maintain profitability.
• Be proactive, responsive and visible with site visits and check-ins.
• Follow up and requote projects to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Ensure orders are prioritised and aligned to site schedules.
• Provide specification and product data as required.
• Onboard new accounts and drive ongoing spend.
• Expand relationships by proposing relevant solutions.
