up to £29,500 per annum DOE

Hours

Monday to Thursday, 7am - 5pm (38 hours)

Company Overview

Holt Engineering is recruiting for a permanent Stores Person to join our client near Salisbury. This company manufactures a variety of metal tubing and assemblies and offers a great working environment.

Responsibilities

1. Goods in receipt from internal and external sources
2. Transportation of stock between sites
3. Monitor and track shipments, update status, and address delays
4. Work independently with limited support
5. Understand specifications and technical drawings
6. Use hand tools such as hacksaws and files
7. Conduct stock takes four times a year
8. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues
9. Operate basic machinery like bandsaws, pillar drills, and linishers
10. Assist across various departments as needed

Requirements

1. Previous stores experience
2. Computer literacy
3. Goods in/out experience
4. Dispatch experience (desirable)
5. Comfortable with manual handling
6. Experience with basic handheld tools
7. Experience working with metal (advantageous)
