Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is a leading facilities management company actively recruiting a Store Person to support aviation operations by managing stock, equipment and materials required for daily activity. You will ensure teams have the supplies they need to deliver services safely, efficiently and on time.

The role supports 5 on 2 off shifts, around 30 hours per week, with responsibilities including stock checks, issuing supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or stock control is beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks in a busy environment.
• Willingness to undergo vetting to UKCAA regulations and security clearance.

About The Role

Working Pattern:

We are recruiting a Store Person to support our aviation operations by managing stock, equipment and materials required for daily activity. You will play an important role in ensuring teams have the supplies they need to deliver services safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and organise incoming stock, equipment and materials.
• Issue supplies to operational teams in line with demand and shift requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, completing regular inventory checks and reporting shortages.
• Ensure storage areas are kept clean, organised and compliant with safety procedures.
• Use stock control systems and complete basic documentation as required.
• Support the movement of equipment and consumables across operational areas.
• Handle deliveries, returns and waste materials safely and responsibly.
• Follow all Health & Safety, security and site protocols at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or stock control (beneficial but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and confident working independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks and working in a busy operational environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to safe working.
• Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo and pass vetting that is to CAA regulations, and security clearance.
