Job summary

Major Recruitment Oldham is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence to join their team in Middleton.

This role is ideal for a reliable and organised individual with stores or warehouse experience who can maintain stock levels, follow safety procedures and work well as part of a team. The position is full-time with stable hours and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence - essential.
• Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing goods.
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/stores.
• Picking and preparing materials for dispatch.
• Maintaining stock records and levels accurately.
• Keeping stores and warehouse areas clean and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider warehouse/stores team as required.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Stores Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance (C/B) licence to join their team in Middleton.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and organised individual with stores/warehouse experience and a current Counterbalance FLT licence.

Working Hours

• Monday to Wednesday: 08:30 - 16:45
• Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
• Friday: 08:00 - 15:00

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing goods
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently

• Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/stores
