Job summary

Ourbob is seeking a Permanent Warehouse Operative (Goods In) to join the busy warehouse team in Waltham Abbey. The role focuses on goods in receiving, checking, storing and supporting the broader warehouse operations.

Counterbalance FLT experience is preferred, with regular Monday–Friday hours and no weekend shifts. You will ensure deliveries are correctly checked, booked in and stored, while maintaining accuracy and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience in Goods In department is highly desirable.
• Counterbalance FLT licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Checking goods against delivery notes and reporting discrepancies.
• Booking stock into the warehouse accurately.
• Moving stock safely using a Counterbalance FLT (where licensed).
• Storing goods in correct locations and assisting with picking, packing and dispatch.

Permanent Warehouse Operative (Goods In) – Counterbalance FLT Preferred

Location: Waltham Abbey

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (47.5 hours per week, one hour unpaid break)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Pay Frequency: Monthly

The Role

Your main responsibility will be supporting the Goods In operation, ensuring all deliveries are received, checked and stored accurately. You'll also support the wider warehouse team with general warehouse duties when required.

Key Responsibilities
