A leading engineering company seeks a Stores Operative to support packing, stock management, and liaising with other departments. Candidates with warehouse experience and good communication skills are preferred. This role offers a competitive salary and a structured work environment.
The Company
A market-leading engineering company that is looking for a Stores Operative to join the team.
The Role
Assist packing for national/international freight.
Assist collection and delivery of goods off site.
Assist all areas of the Stores Department as necessary, including;
Process stock shortage tickets
Assist Goods inwards, booking in and warehousing.
Assist in dealing with 3rd party contractors.
Have some understanding of workshop environment.
Keep the work area clean and tidy.
Use of computerised Stock Management System.
Liaison with other departments
Comply with Company Health and Safety procedures
Comply with Company Systems and procedures
Working Hours: 08:00- 16:30 and 16:00 on a Friday (39 hour week)
The Candidate
Forklift experience would be beneficial
Good communication skills
Driving license
Experience working in a warehouse environment
The Package
The salary offered for this position is 23,000- 27,000 depending on whether a candidate can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
