Job summary

Triumph Consultants are seeking a reliable Stores Operative to support the daily running of their client's Stores and the Waste Transfer Station in Gateshead. You will ensure materials are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently, with a focus on stock accuracy and safe handling.

The role is a 5-month contract based in Gateshead (NE8 3EN) with a pay rate of £13.26 per hour PAYE and 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri).

Qualifications

• Previous Stores, Waste or Warehouse experience.
• Ability to use IT systems to record stock and material transactions.
• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
• Forklift and telehandler experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and issue materials to staff and work sites.
• Prepare material kits and deliver materials and PPE across Gateshead.
• Maintain stock levels and update records accurately.
• Operate forklifts and telehandlers to move materials and waste safely.
• Keep Stores and the Waste Transfer Station clean, tidy and safe.
