Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Night Shift Stores Person for a Daventry-based role with a well-established engineering company. You will manage stock, handle goods, and support internal and external customers on a night shift.

The ideal candidate holds UK driving licence, External Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences, and has stores/stock management experience. You must be reliable, team-focused and willing to work rotating 4-on 4-off nights.

Qualifications

Night Shift Stores Person – Daventry

Salary: £17.84 – £29.55 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Shift: Rotating 4-on, 4-off night shifts

Location: Daventry

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Stores Person to join their team on a night shift basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong stores and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Night Shift Stores Person, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the stores operation, including stock management, goods handling and providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

The Ideal Candidate

• A valid UK driving licence
• A valid External Reach Forklift Licence
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a stores or stock management environment
• Good organisational and stock control skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
• The ability to work rotating 4-on, 4-off night shifts
