Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 Warehousing & Storage
• Forklift Licence and Manual Handling required
• First Aid at Work certification beneficial

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and book in raw materials and supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Pick and issue materials for fabrication and installation projects.
• Organise warehouse for efficient retrieval and stock rotation.
• Support fabrication teams by ensuring materials are available for schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers and transport.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and book in raw materials, steel plate, wear liners, welding consumables, tools, and engineering supplies.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels using company stock control systems.
• Pick and issue materials for fabrication and installation projects.
• Organise warehouse and storage areas to ensure efficient material retrieval.
• Support fabrication teams by ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Prepare equipment, consumables, and materials for site installation teams.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers and transport companies.
• Ensure traceability of materials in accordance with company quality procedures.
• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in line with company HSE requirements.

• Experience working in fabrication and industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safe lifting, storage, and handling of engineering materials.
