Siemens Mobility Limited in Goole is seeking a Stores Coordinator to support production by ensuring timely availability of materials, tooling and spare parts at the Goole Bogie Service Centre.

You will manage stock, update databases, raise transport requests, assist technical staff, and maintain security; applicants should have warehouse/logistics experience and strong communication and computer skills.

Formación

• Warehouse and/or logistical experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good level of computer literacy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic engineering knowledge is preferred but not essential.
• Fork Lift Truck Licence of experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Stock control utilizing the stock management system. Receive, dispatch, inspect and issue materials.
• Update the relative order/materials databases and ensure Stores security is maintained.
• Control and order stores/depot consumables and tooling.
• Raise transport requests for the transportation of material through authorised accounts to move material to other depot/suppliers.
• Assist technical staff in the identification of materials and raise order requests.
• Loading and unloading of the trucks in a careful manner to ensure the released goods are moved and stored without damage and in line with manual guidelines.

We are looking for someone to come and join the team as a Stores Coordinator. You will play a vital role in supporting production by ensuring the timely availability of essential materials, including tooling, consumables, and spare parts.

The role will be based at our Siemens Mobility Bogie Service Centre (BSC) in Goole which is a specialist facility focused on the overhaul and maintenance of train bogies—the critical wheelset assemblies that support and guide trains on the track.
