Our client is a leading employer in the Aylesbury area. They have experienced an extended period of growth and are now looking to recruit a new Engineering Stores Assistant to manage and maintain the engineering inventory.

Role and Responsibilities

• Managing and organizing inventory: materials, parts, equipment
• Utilising the CMMS system for stock checks and reports
• Receiving deliveries and operating forklifts and trucks
• Booking in and out inventory
• Managing returns and transportation
• Liaising with Engineering and Procurement teams
• Maintaining a tidy stores area

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience and understanding of engineering
• Experience in a stores role
• Computer literate
• A forklift license would be advantageous
