Job summary

Central Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Stock Controller to manage stock control, booking in and out of goods, and ensure records are accurate. You will file stock-related documents and physically locate goods within the system and yard.

• Accurately locate and relocate goods in the system and physically.
• Inspect delivered goods on receipt, record them, and store in correct location.
• Report discrepancies found during goods receipt.
• Liaise with other departments regarding stock-related issues.
• Pick, pack, load and unload shipping containers.
• Assist with mobilization of equipment and dangerous goods.
• Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth operations.
• Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities: all employees must take care of their own safety and others at work.

Job description

Responsible for:

Stock Control

Booking In and Out of goods

• File all stock-related documentation for easy retrieval.
• Accurately locate and relocate goods both physically and within the system.

Stock Receipts

• Inspect delivered goods, record them, and ensure they are placed in the correct storage location.
• Report any discrepancies found during goods receipt.

Communication

• Liaise with other departments regarding stock-related issues as required.

Other Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, load, and unload shipping containers.
• Assist with mobilization of equipment and dangerous goods.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth operations.
