Job summary

Boyd Recruitment is seeking a Storeman to manage the site stores on a project in Girvan, Ayrshire. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, issuing tools and equipment, maintaining stock levels and ensuring a safe, organized stores area on site.

You will coordinate with the site team and uphold health & safety procedures while keeping accurate registers and records.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site stores or inventory.
• Familiarity with stock checks and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the site stores.
• Receive, check and record deliveries.
• Issue and track tools, equipment, PPE and materials.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out stock checks.
• Organise a clean, safe and secure stores area.
• Monitor and report damaged, missing or defective equipment.
• Coordinate material and equipment with the site team.
• Maintain tool, plant and stock registers.
• Ensure stores activities comply with site health & safety procedures

The Job

Key Duties

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site stores.
• Receive, check and record deliveries.

Pay Rate

£18 - £19 per hour (depending on experience)
