Job summary

Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electrical Storeman to join a major industrial engineering project on a live water treatment site. The role focuses on managing the site stores, stock levels and distribution of electrical materials.

You will receive, check and book in deliveries, issue materials to site operatives, carry out stock takes and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, liaising with management and procurement as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Storeman or similar on construction/industrial projects.
• Experience handling electrical materials and equipment.
• Background in water utilities, industrial engineering, power generation or process plant is desirable.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Competent with stock control systems.

Overview

Storeman (Electrical) – We are recruiting for an Electrical Storeman to join a major industrial engineering project. This is an opportunity to support the delivery of electrical installation works on a live water treatment site. This role would suit someone with previous stores experience on industrial, utilities, power, process plant or water treatment projects, ideally with an understanding of electrical materials and equipment.
