Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Trading Manager to ensure product availability, lead store-wide trading routines and deliver strong promotional events. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll guide team performance and maintain safe, legal trades across departments.

You’ll plan resources, manage shifts, and develop staff to work flexibly in a fast-paced retail environment, driving store-wide priorities and excellent customer service.

• Put customers first: Lead your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions and acting on customer feedback to keep standards high.
• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to work flexibly across departments.
• Drive performance and availability: Lead a supportive, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
