Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Store Team Member to be the friendly face on the shop floor. You will greet customers, replenish shelves, and work across departments from fresh food to seasonal, delivering high standards every day.

This fast-paced, hands-on retail role requires flexibility with evenings and weekends to cover store hours from 6am to 10pm. You will be trained across multiple areas including tills and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Keep the momentum going: you’ll unload deliveries and ensure stock is available on the shop floor for customers.
• You’ll be trained across multiple areas including tills, cash handling, and roles in the Café/Bakery/Garden Centre.

As a Store Team Member, you will be at the heart of it all, greeting customers, replenishing shelves, and working across different departments from fresh food to seasonal while always delivering fantastic standards.

Retail here is fast-paced and hands-on, with no two days the same. Because our stores are open from 6 am to 10 pm daily, we ask for some flexibility with evenings and weekends — but don’t worry, we work hard to balance shifts fairly so everyone gets the time off they need.

Package

Salary & Hours

13.71 per hour (18-20), £14.00 per hour (21+).

• The above pay includes a non-contractual and non-transferable Regional Allowance (£1.00 per hour)

Shifts available are:

• 16 hours per week. Must be available to work between the hours of 5am - 9am
• 16 hours per week. Must be available to work between thew hours of 5pm - 9pm
