Job summary

Co-op Group in Harrogate is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run a busy store on Otley Road. You will lead a small team on shift, ensure smooth operations, and deliver great service to customers.

You will be on the shop floor, support merchandising and stock control, and help drive membership and community engagement while delivering friendly, efficient service across weekend shifts and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or team leadership.
• Ability to lead by example and work flexibly.
• Passion for people management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
