Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Bath to manage daily store operations with a small team, including bakery and post office duties where applicable. You’ll lead service, stock, and onboarding while ensuring great customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role requires flexibility across varied shifts, including weekends, with a 12–39 hour pattern and regular overtime. Co-op offers employee discounts and strong development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store on your shift and lead the team.
• Motivate, coach, and support colleagues to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor, tills, and in-store bakery, setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement.
