Job summary

Cardsdirect is seeking a Key Holding Sales Assistant in Corby. This permanent, part-time role offers 0–16 hours per week with potential flex up to 30 hours at peak periods and weekend work.

You will lead the store team, deputise for managers, and uphold high merchandising and safety standards while delivering outstanding customer service. Core duties include driving sales, training staff, managing costs, and ensuring policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset required.
• Team supervision or coaching abilities beneficial.
• Cash handling and basic maths skills.

Responsibilities

• Set high standards of customer service and ensure the team delivers.
• Maintain safe environment in line with Health & Safety policy.
• Assist store manager to maximise sales and provide ideas for improvements.
• Submit sales information to Head Office accurately and on time.
• Supervise and train team members to maximise potential and sales.
• Assist with recruitment and ensure staff are trained on policies and paperwork.
• Keep wage costs within budget and ensure adequate cover across hours.
