Job summary

Ryman is seeking a Store Supervisor to join our design-led stationery team in London. The role is 12 hours per week and involves leading the team, delivering excellent service, and driving store performance.

You will help ensure product knowledge, visual merchandising, and an engaging customer experience in our New Concept Store. You will be responsible for upholding store standards, executing promotions, and building relationships with the Retail Support Centre.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about design-led stationery and reflect that passion to the customer.
• Lead the team to live and breathe excellent service with enthusiastic customer engagement.
• Ensure the team has a high level of product knowledge.
• Highlight promotions and upsell to drive sales.
• Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store standards.
• Contribute to making our New Concept Store the number one High Street Stationer.
• Motivate colleagues to drive sales and meet store KPIs.
• Build relationships with the wider business and liaise with Retail Support Centre for issues.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, take accountability for store operations.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Be passionate about design-led stationery, reflect that by loving the brand and products and transferring that passion to the customer.


• Live and breathe excellent service by ensuring all team members engage with customers enthusiastically.


• Ensure the team has a high level of product knowledge.


• Highlight relevant promotions and upsell to drive sales.


• Have a flair for excellent visual merchandising.


• Ensure that store standards are adhered to and consistently maintained.


• Contribute towards making our New Concept Store the number one High Street Stationer.


• Motivate all colleagues to drive sales and to achieve and exceed store KPIs.


• Be proactive in building relationships with the wider business.


• Liaise with the Retail Support Centre should any issues need to be reported.


• In the absence of the Store Manager, take full accountability for the overall running of the store.
