Job summary

Ryman in London is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead our team in a 12-hour-per-week role, focused on delivering exceptional service and driving sales.

You will motivate colleagues, ensure product knowledge, highlight promotions, and maintain store standards as part of our design-led stationery brand. Join us to shape the customer experience in a high-street setting.

You'll work with peers across the business and have opportunities for development within a growing retailer.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service and upselling.
  • Good product knowledge and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to motivate a team and support store leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Be passionate about design-led stationery and transfer that passion to the customer.
  • Live and breathe excellent service with a team that engages customers.
  • Ensure the team has a high level of product knowledge.
  • Highlight relevant promotions and upsell to drive sales.
  • Have a flair for brilliant visual merchandising.
  • Maintain store standards consistently.
  • Support the New Concept Store to be the top High Street Stationer.
  • Motivate colleagues to hit and exceed store KPIs.
  • Build relationships with the wider business and liaise with Retail Support Centre if issues arise.
  • In the Store Manager's absence, take full accountability for store operations.

Key roles and responsibilities


  • Be passionate about design-led stationery, reflect that by loving the brand and products and transferring that passion to the customer.

  • Live and breathe excellent service by ensuring all team members engage with customers enthusiastically.

  • Ensure the team has a high level of product knowledge.

  • Highlight relevant promotions and upsell to drive sales.

  • Have a flair for excellent visual merchandising.

  • Ensure that store standards are adhered to and consistently maintained.

  • Contribute towards making our New Concept Store the number one High Street Stationer.

  • Motivate all colleagues to drive sales and to achieve and exceed store KPIs.

  • Be proactive in building relationships with the wider business.

  • Liaise with the Retail Support Centre should any issues need to be reported.

  • In the absence of the Store Manager, take full accountability for the overall running of the store.
