Job summary

Channel Islands Co. is seeking a Supervisor for our Charing Cross Food Store. You will lead a busy team, drive customer service, merchandising and store operations to maximise sales in line with the Society’s values.

You will be responsible for safety, stock movement and checkout processing, while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture and delivering excellent store performance.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of the business and the wider co‑operative movement.
• Risk awareness in areas under your responsibility.
• Ability to understand and communicate business reporting.
• Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Level 3 ILM qualification or 2+ years relevant experience.
• Technical experience related to the role (indicative).

• Contribute to the successful delivery of the Store business plan.
• Lead, inspire, and develop your team; ensure colleagues feel valued.
• Ensure store safety, security and legal compliance.
• Demonstrate understanding of profit growth.
• Develop and deliver excellent customer service.
• Move and replenish stock.
• Process transactions on the checkouts.
