Job summary

Murphy USA is hiring part-time Shift Leads to join our team of one of America’s largest national gasoline and convenience retailers. You will lead a store shift, deliver prompt service, and help drive daily performance.

This role includes cash handling, ensuring stock and safety, and supporting the Store Manager. Our benefits include daily pay, healthcare, a 401K with company matches, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related experience.
• Must be 18+ (19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky, 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah) and have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees.

Salary

Assistant Manager Salary Range: $14.25 - $14.75 per hour

Shift Lead Salary Range: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
