Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse Swansea is hiring a Branch Leader to drive outstanding customer service and robust store operations. You’ll lead a hands-on team, oversee the shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas, and ensure stock accuracy from receipt to sale.

With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll focus on stock control, pricing, promotions and merchandising while coaching colleagues to reach consistently high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage the full stock lifecycle, from receipt through replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, pricing accuracy, planogram compliance and promotions.
• Drive sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and effective team performance.
• Coach and support colleagues to build capability, take ownership and deliver high standards.
• Support the wider branch management team and act as the most senior leader on duty when required.
• Ensure the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
