As a Store Manager you will be responsible to maximise profit through effective management of the store and productivity of team whilst ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are achieved.

The roles and responsibilities for this Store Manager – Workington role :

• Track store performance daily, weekly, and monthly, comparing year-on-year results.
• Identify and recommend ways to improve store efficiency and sales.
• Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to the Area Manager.
• Help the store achieve its monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Train, lead, and motivate the team to drive performance and growth.
• Oversee all aspects of the store, including security, sales conversion, staff management, and overall success.

Qualifications Required for this Store Manager – Workington role :

• Previous management experience in retail.
• Open to candidates with experience as a Store, Department, Deputy, or Assistant Manager.
• Retail experience in any sector is welcome, but fashion is preferred.
• Strong background in fast-paced fashion retail.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proven ability to meet budgets and KPI targets.
• Self-motivated, with strong communication skills to engage with teams, customers, and senior leadership.
• Experience in performance management and conducting staff appraisals.
