Angling Direct is seeking a Store Manager for Sutton in Ashfield to lead a team and deliver exceptional service to fishing enthusiasts. You will drive sales, mentor staff, and maintain high standards of customer experience while managing store operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of the store. Lead and develop a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives
• Develop and implement business strategies to increase customer engagement, optimise store traffic, and maximise profitability. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective training, motivation and mentoring of staff
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and maintaining store standards
• Oversee store administration, including compliance with health and safety requirements, banking and any other relevant policies and procedures. Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards.
• Conduct regular performance appraisals, identify training needs and support career development. Manage and resolve any staff or customer issues, including complaints and grievances

What You Will Do:
