Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As a Store Manager, you will guide the store's commercial and community strategies, lead your team, and ensure a fantastic shopping experience for customers, colleagues, and members. You will help your team grow and demonstrate the Co-op difference in local communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Empowering your team to deliver excellent service and promote the Co-op difference.
  2. Building an inclusive culture where everyone can share their views.
  3. Developing your team through regular performance conversations.
  4. Ensuring the store is safe, legal, and operational.
  5. Managing and optimizing store performance, recruiting new team members, and handling HR processes.

Requirements include experience in guiding and developing a team, working in a busy, service-focused environment, good communication skills, and the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire your team. Additional skills needed are resilience, problem-solving, and commercial awareness.
