Job summary

Boots Opticians in Glasgow, United Kingdom is seeking a Store Manager to lead the store team and deliver exceptional patient and customer experiences across our wide range of optical products and services.

Reporting to the Regional manager, you will drive store performance, build external relationships, and shape a local strategy aimed at improving patient care and profitability while developing your team's professional and clinical knowledge through the Step into Optics programme.

• Complete our industry-leading 'Step into Optics' training programme along to help you to develop your professional and clinical knowledge.

As an Opticians Store Manager

You will be responsible for the leadership of your store to provide an exemplary customer experience to every patient and customer. With the wide range of products and services offered in store, you will be working alongside a diverse team of varying clinical expertise and knowledge.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional manager, you will work collaboratively with the regional team and the Support Office to influence and to increase business performance. You will use your commercial knowledge of your local community to develop great external relationships to help shape your store specific strategy to improve patient care and profitability. You will also:

• Create a successful store environment.
• Work alongside your team to assist customers and find the products and services that best meet their needs, including offering solutions such as frame styling, clinical pre-testing, dispensing and much more, tailored to individual needs and preferences.
