Store Manager, Womenswear Brand
Excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to join this well-established women’s retailer in a key role. Based in the Manchester, Arndale Centre branch, this position suits experienced Store Managers ready for a new challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire colleagues through training, feedback, delegation, local incentives, and clear communication.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, especially through our personalised customer experience, to ensure an exceptional shopping journey.
- Foster connections with various departments at the head office and actively engage in networking across the organisation.
- Demonstrate a deep commitment to the brand by serving as an ambassador and setting a positive example for the team.
- Drive sales by delivering outstanding service and effective selling techniques.
- Curate visually appealing store displays with a keen eye for fashion and creativity.
- Ensure efficient management of colleague-related administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, onboarding, uniform orders, and training progress checks.
- Strategically plan for upcoming events and promotional changes, leveraging the skills of the team to maintain consistent presentation standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff, including probationary and annual reviews, and provide coaching for improvement where necessary.
- Handle colleague recruitment using competency-based interview techniques, in alignment with the area manager's directives.
- Analyse daily and weekly sales data to respond promptly to performance trends and guide the team's understanding.
- Take responsibility for store security and loss prevention, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Proactively introduce innovative ideas for improvement within your area of responsibility and address objections to change positively.
- Communicate targets effectively to colleagues and store management through meetings, diaries, and handovers.
- Cultivate an environment of mutual trust and respect, celebrating team achievements.
