Store Manager, Womenswear Brand
Excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to join this well-established women’s retailer in a key role. Based at the Manchester Arndale Centre branch, this position is suitable for experienced Store Managers seeking a new challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate colleagues through training, feedback, delegation, local incentives, and effective communication.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, especially through personalised experiences, to ensure an exceptional shopping journey.
- Build connections with departments at head office and engage in networking across the organisation.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating commitment and setting a positive example for the team.
- Drive sales by delivering outstanding service and effective selling techniques.
- Create visually appealing store displays with a fashion-forward and creative approach.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, onboarding, uniform orders, and training progress.
- Plan for upcoming events and promotions, leveraging team skills to maintain presentation standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching for staff development.
- Recruit colleagues using competency-based interviews in line with the area manager’s guidance.
- Analyse sales data to respond to performance trends and inform team strategies.
- Ensure store security and loss prevention in compliance with company policies.
- Introduce innovative ideas for improvements and address objections positively.
- Communicate targets effectively through meetings, diaries, and handovers.
- Foster an environment of mutual trust and celebrate team achievements.
