Asda Stores Ltd in Swaffham is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily supermarket operations, optimise stock availability, reduce waste, and drive productivity. You will coach a team to maintain high standards, ensure safety, and deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers.

You will implement strategies, monitor KPIs, and lead with heart to foster a supportive, high-performing culture while achieving commercial targets and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as Store Manager or Duty Manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments.
• Track record of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Proven ability to develop teams and manage change through leadership and resilience.
• Experience handling complex ER cases and understanding HR policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning strategy and execution of day-to-day store operations.
• Maximise availability, minimise waste and shrink, and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coach and develop the team to deliver consistent standards and drive productivity.
• Ensure compliance, store standards, and legal requirements are met on the shop floor.
