Job summary

The Perfume Shop is seeking a Store Manager in Swindon to lead a fast-paced store, drive targets, and coach a diverse team. You will be accountable for daily operations, stock control, and delivering exceptional customer service.

With 37.5 contracted hours and a permanent contract, you will manage rotas, security procedures, and develop staff to sustain store success, growth and incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an assistant/store manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coach and develop a team to high standards.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on day-to-day store running.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding KPIs: sales, service, profit & loss.
• Commercial mindset for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store to meet daily, weekly and annual targets and coach the team to deliver.
• Deliver and communicate rota plans; manage opening/closing with security adherence.
• Review store performance and implement action plans to overcome challenges.
• Oversee stock inventory and minimise stock loss.
• Provide regular 1:1 coaching, monitor performance and recognise achievements.
• Lead recruitment to build a strong, capable store team.
