Job summary

Cancer Research UK operates a Sutton shop seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead a team of staff and volunteers. You’ll drive sales and fundraising targets while representing the charity and building local community relationships.

You will own the commercial running of the store, including merchandising, stock management and maintaining high shop standards, ensuring great customer experiences and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing and inspiring a diverse team of people.
• Comfort working within targets and motivating others to achieve those targets.
• Knowledge of high street fashion retail.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Ability to multi-task in a lively environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide, motivate and engage the store team of paid staff and volunteers.
• Oversee commercial running: display, merchandising, stock management and shop standards.
• Lead by example with customer and supporter service and manage fundraising activities.
• Maximise profit through cost control and effective sales and customer engagement.
